Universal Love

As a massive thank you to MGM Resort’s LGBTQ+ employees, we created an album of queer love songs.

An idea this ambitious needed the right partners to break through. So we reached out to emotional crooners like Bob Dylan, Kesha, Ben Gibbard, and St Vincent. We gave them full autonomy to select and re-make famous love songs, with one key change: The love was now from he to he and she to she.

Making sure our project looked as good as it sounded, we created a digital album (that hit #9 on iTunes), released pressed vinyl featuring pop art by Craig & Karl, produced Kesha’s “I need a woman to love me” music video (where Kesha officiated the real marriage of two incredible women at the Bellagio), and partnered with Your Majesty to design a digital platform.
